Kladské pomezí
The varied, one could almost say jagged landscape of the Kladské pomezí is a romantic counterbalance to the majestic Krkonoše Mountains. The low hills of the Jestřebí Mountains, the narrow streets of rock towns, rich cultural history and the "East Bohemian Sea" are all unique destinations for many trips.
With a small tasting we will offer a piece of each. The Jestřebí Mountains easily accessible from Trutnov, the treasures of mining but also of the great Czech literature, the complexes of the Adršpach-Teplice Rocks and the Broumov Walls, the Rozkoš water reservoir.
Jestřebí mountains
The surroundings of the mystical Čížek Stones are not only Trutnov Trails. You will find many friendly marked hiking and cycling trails with beautiful views. You'll also see the Slavětín and Žaltman lookout towers, and in Markoušovice you'll meet the life-size Joseph II.
There are a large number of log cabins in the area - part of the former concrete fortifications of the Czechoslovakia.
Rock Towns
The bizarre sandstone formations in the Adršpach-Teplice Rocks need no introduction. However, every visitor should know that prior reservation is required for entry and especially for parking in Adršpach.
Slightly quieter from the point of view of the tourist, but more disturbed from the point of view of nature are the Broumovské stěny, which are best reached from Police nad Metují.
