The best events
The town of Trutnov can undoubtedly be called the city of festivals, a city of great events. Festivals run here all year round, from the winter Jazzinec, through summer’s wild Obscene Extreme to the relaxed Artu Kus towards end of summer. One step higher is CIRK-Uff, the festival of the new circus. And let’s not forget the event called “Už ho nesou” which literally means “They are carrying him!” But whom are they carrying? The Dragon, of course! Last but not least is the Krakonoš Bicycle Marathon, a cycling race taking place in the Giant Mountains National Park and the eye-catching exhibition World of Flowers.
