Krakonoš Bicycle Marathon
Krakonoš Bicycle Marathon is a road bicycle race across the ridges of the Giant Mountains and the Czech-Polish border, open to both amateurs and professionals. All active sportspersons, including children, can experience the atmosphere of the race or just enjoy a rich accompanying program as a fan. As a part of start registration, it is possible to choose participant T-shirt, which is prepared for men and women.
Closed circuit cycling race for children is prepared at the start and finish area in front of UFFO. Young competitors aged 1-12 can compete in several categories on bicycles and balance bikes. After the race entertainment agency VOSA program will take care of children with lots of fun, songs, and competitions. You can look forward to a rich lottery with prizes of all kinds. Plus, you will meet a chosen world sport legend, supporting athletes, especially children. All participants in the children's race will then receive the prizes which will be handed over by this celebrity.
If you want to try something new you can visit the unique Weaving Museum “Dům pod Jasanem” or watch part of the race in Malá Úpa, visit the Fairy-tale Trail or climb one of the mountain peaks ....
