Trutnov Autumn - 41st International Music Festival
The best Czech tenor, a harpist who was applauded by a packed Carnegie Hall, a singing cellist or a famous violin virtuoso accompanied by a local orchestra. These are the biggest attractions of this year's 41st edition of the Trutnov Autumn International Music Festival. Each of the five concerts is different, but each promises a unique experience.

Vesna and Unique Quartet
The opening concert of the girl band Vesna and Unique Quartet is an interesting mix of classical music with their own original concept. Vesna is backed by singer, songwriter and composer Patricia Fuxová, whose musical style is a mixture of pop, folk and classical music, all with a dash of electronica.

Richard Samek
An extraordinary experience promises a joint performance of one of the best Czech tenors of today, Richard Samek, accompanied by the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra. The selection of arias is wide-ranging, as the singer has performed dozens of roles at home and abroad, including Faust in Gounod's opera of the same name, the Prince in Dvořák's Rusalka and Hänsel from Bedřich Smetana's The Bartered Bride.

Kateřina Englichová
The beautiful harpist Kateřina Englichová, who is applauded all over the world, will also come to Uffo. Almost anything can be played on the instrument, which has forty-seven strings and seven pedals. It has a quite exceptional sound and its arrangements of musical melodies are remarkable.

Terezie Kovalová
The most wanted Czech cellist and singer Terezie Kovalová will present her solo project at the Bohuslav Martinů Concert Hall. The programme will include solo compositions for cello with vocals from her own works.

Ivan Ženatý and Symphony Orchestra of Podkrkonoší
The performer of the final concert, violin virtuoso Ivan Ženatý (see the opening photo of the article), needs no long introduction. In his youth he was also a member of the orchestra in Semily and today he is returning. He will be accompanied at the festival by the local Symphony Orchestra of Podkrkonoší under the baton of conductor Josef Kurfiřt.
